The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has issued Memorandum Circular 2020-114, requesting all provincial governors, city mayors, municipal mayors, punong barangay, DILG regional directors, BARMM Chief Minister, and others all concerned to support this year’s Development Policy Research Month (DPRM) celebration, by way of undertaking the following suggested activities:

1. Prominently displaying the 18th DPRM banner/streamer within their office premises. (Banner templates can be accessed through the link http://bit.ly/dprm2020. local government units (LGUs) may opt to (i) choose between the English version and the Filipino version depending on their language preference, and (ii) translate the slogan in their local dialect.

2. Featuring the 18th DPRM promotional materials, infographics, and other related announcements on their websites and social media accounts. (LGUs may download materials from the DPRM website, https://dprm.pids.gov.ph, and PIDS social media pages, https://www.facebook.com/PIDS.PH/ and https://twitter.com/PIDS_PH.

3. Participating in DPRM 2020 virtual activities to be streamed via Facebook Live on PIDS Facebook page. Activity details are posted on the DPRM website and PIDS social media pages.

4. Organizing virtual activities/events that may be relevant to the DPRM 2020 theme or to policy research

All DILG Regional Directors and BARMM Minister of the Interior and Local Government are directed to cause the immediate and widest dissemination of the Memorandum Circular to all LGUs and their respective areas of responsibility.
